Dr. Karthikeyan Mahalingam, MD, FAICO (Glaucoma), is an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research. He is an ex-Assistant Professor at Dr. Rajendra Prasad Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences and completed his postgraduate training and Senior Residency at the same institute. He has authored over 100 scientific publications, including 75+ PubMed-indexed articles, and contributed more than 25 book chapters, with over 450 citations and an h-index of 13. He is the editor of the book Childhood Glaucoma published by Springer. Dr. Shreya Jain is currently pursuing a Fellowship in Cornea, Refractive and Anterior Segment at Shroff’s Charity Eye Hospital, New Delhi, after completing her MS Ophthalmology from Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai. With training from India’s premier ophthalmic institutes, she has developed strong interests in academics, surgical learning and ophthalmic innovation. Alongside extensive clinical and surgical exposure, she has actively contributed to research, teaching, digital academic initiatives and collaborative learning platforms. She has been involved in various innovation initiatives and institutional hackathons. After graduating from KMC Manipal (MS Ophthalmology), I completed my long-term fellowship in cataract, pediatric ophthalmology, strabismus, and neuro-ophthalmology at Sankara Eye Hospital, Coimbatore, in 2017, followed by the ICO fellowship at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. At present, I am a Senior Consultant at Vision Eye Centres, New Delhi.
